Nyala Nature Reserve
Nyala is a 400 ha Nature Reserve – 20 k’s from Brits (+-80 k’s from Pretoria, +-120 k’s from Jhb Central ) with sleeping facilities for 160 children. There are 10 wooden cabins with 16 single bunk beds with mattresses in each (no bedding) and separate ablution blocks.Teachers have 2 chalets with 3 beds in each with on suite bathroom (bedding provided). Facilities include thatched lapa/dining room, kitchen (with 1 fridge, 1 gas stove with oven, kitchen equipment, cutlery, mostly plastic plates, cups, glasses), swimming reservoir, huge natural dam, obstacle course. Various game species roam the area.
